SEND Teacher – Worcester

Job Description

SWe are seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEND Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEND) and helping them to reach their full potential.

The Role

As a SEND Teacher, you will work with pupils with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. You will plan, deliver, and adapt engaging lessons tailored to individual learning styles and requirements within a dedicated SEND environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of pupils with SEND.

* Differentiate learning to ensure accessibility for all pupils.

* Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

* Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals.

* Track, monitor, and report on pupil progress in line with SEND targets.

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Experience teaching pupils with SEND (essential).

* Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.

* A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach.

* A genuine passion for making a difference in SEND education.
