Are you passionate about helping children with special educational needs thrive in a nurturing and supportive environment? Trusted Talent is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a well-respected SEND school in the Bilston area.

About the Role:

As a key part of the classroom team, the Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers and therapists to support students’ academic, emotional, and social development. You’ll provide one-to-one and small group support, promote independence, and help create a calm, engaging learning environment where every child is valued.

The Teaching Assistant will also play a vital role in assisting with personal care tasks, including pad changing, ensuring all pupils’ physical and emotional well-being is supported with dignity and respect.

I’d love to hear from you if you: 

*Are patient, empathetic, and have an enthusiastic attitude

* Have experience working with children or young people in school or care settings (is desirable but not essential)

* Have a genuine interest in supporting learners with additional needs

* Have excellent communication and teamwork skills

* Have a valid Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one

* Are willing to assist with personal care duties (pad changing) when required
